Seven Lemons Q & A:

Q: Is there a future for web systems development in South Africa and how does it look?
A: "For sure! More and more people are making their businesses mobile and what better way to centralise information than the web? CRM's are making life
much easier for CEO's. They can see whether their people are performing or not, by simply logging in and drawing reports from anywhere in the world. As
far as South Africa is concerned: people are definitely waking to a new era of Internet. Most people are either using 3G or DSL these days, making the
need for online services that much more important. The future of South African web systems looks very bright indeed! Estimated worldwide Internet users
by year 2015 is 5 billion - that's practically 70% of the current world population!"

Q: Favourite place in the world and why?
A: "It has to Rome, Italy! I think the architecture is awesome and the history is insane. Gotta go there!"

Kyle Bath
Graphics Design Specialist

Kyle is the head of the Graphics Design department. Daily routine includes: designing corporate identities from
scratch or working with the existing material and further advancing the appeal, communication and objectivity of
a brand.

Combing the latest trends with tried and tested methods over the years ensures successful projects which will
engage the audience into action. While studying for a diploma in Visual Communication, Kyle worked for one year
as a designer interfacing with household brands before joining forces with Jayson to start Seven Lemons Design
Studio.

Seven Lemons Q & A:

Q: What are the tools needed for Graphics Design to advance in South Africa?
A: "The opportunity to be malleable, the times are changing in this country with technology advancing hand in hand. The
end-users are more visually aware and brand conscious as a whole compared to the average citizen a few years ago. New
media, applications, and designs that engage the audience's imagination and participation is the way forward for South Africa.
Does this mean recreating the wheel? No surely not, there is nothing new underneath the sun, but fortune favours the brave
and establishing designs that are both communicative (internal structure and end-user) and cross-culturally unifying is a
tool that no one should be without."

Q: Favourite place in the world and why?
A: "New York City - The city that never sleeps, the proverbial "heartbeat" of the world... need I say more?"
