The story of how Seven Lemons Design Studio has become what it is today is sure to be a book on its own in the future. But we'll try to keep it short and comprehensive.

The company was started by Kyle Bath and
Jayson Reynolds in March 2006. Both partners were
20 years old at the time and both had received clear direction of leaving their jobs at the time and starting a partnership of awesomeness.
So a valid question you are probably asking is, "Why the name Seven Lemons?" Well, the name was actually chosen before the company was started.
Firstly, SEVEN
is God's perfect number and the foundations of the company were and are still built on His direction. It was clear that the company should not start with any
debt and as such, Seven Lemons has never had any debt. No debt? That's right - we started with the clothes on our back and big support group back home!
Secondly, LEMONS was chosen purely on the basis of design and implementation. We wanted to portray a new and fresh approach to design. What's fresher than a lemon and more
radiant than the colour yellow? Good luck beating that one ;)
Just for some history here - at the time, Jayson had a 1981 Golf Mk1 and Kyle had a very interesting... Citi Golf. No door panels, dented all around and man did it rattle?
Simone was the name. Both guys had their fair share of standing without petrol and both kept fit by push-starting cars on practically a daily basis. Thankfully those days are
over (yet rather funny in retrospect) and we like to believe that we've made valuable advances with regards to our modes of transportation.
Another question you're probably asking is, "Where did you start?" The answer to that one is: Jayson's parents' house. From the study to the dining room table and finally,
after a full day of renovation and cleaning up:
the garage. It looked really good! New carpeting, curtains cordoning the office off, a long desk and two couches. The Lemons worked
there for over a year. Clients in and out and not one of them complained.
During October 2006, the guys met Francois Myburg, who was at that stage, working for a large accounting firm. He was interested in the
web development and graphics design market
and was looking for people to aid him in his endeavours. After seeing the Seven Lemons quality, Francois started bringing clients to the table and The Lemons did what they do best.
After almost a year of working together, Seven Lemons had the opportunity of partnering with Francois and another business man (can't release the name just yet), in the idea of
expanding the capabilities and client base of the company. So the four partnered up and during December 2007, Seven Lemons relocated to an office block, where they still work today.

Up to present time, Seven Lemons has been growing at a rather phenomenal rate and it is clear to see that the time invested into the foundations of the company has truly paid off. Our
clients are loyal and we enjoy a healthy working relationship with each of them. Our client base stretches over borders and includes household brands (local and international) and
up-and-coming powerhouses, who all agree that Seven Lemons Design Studio is 100% Pure Design.
As stated before - God has always been and still is the foundation of the business. Even though the words "thank you" are in order; it still just doesn't seem nearly enough.
Seven Lemons Design Studio recognises the importance of protecting your personal information and as such subscribes to the principles, outlined in Section 51 of the
